You know The Pharcyde as 4 people, but we 3 are doing a new album and Fatlip is doing a solo album, too. But we do not have any bad vibes to each other. Everyone just has to do the what he want to do.

You have said something about a new album that will be released soon. What's the difference between the 1st and 2nd album to this one?
Yeah, there were differences. At the begining nobody knows each other. That means we could do everything. Now, the people know who is The Pharcyde. But anyway, we unconscious try, to do the right thing, for our fans. We believe that the people get along with our stuff, because when you are a Pharcyde fan your are a special person.

Who makes the music on your new album?
Most of it, we do by ourself. Slimkid Tre did, Beedie did and some other people. We just haven't finished it, yet.

There is a video by Brian Green, you are dealing with. What was it and how did you came to it?
A friend of mine asked me, wether I could imagine to do something with Brian Green and I thought o.k. I give it a chance and went to the studio. He a nice guy, and we began to work and when we started we wanted to do it right. I don't want to diss him because of his playing in 90210. When I do something, I bring it to an end.

We are sitting here in this park. So I want to know what are you doing all day long?
While we are on tour, we try to rock the crowd. At home we make music all the time, I chill with my cousin...

I like to look after beautyful girls. And I have seen a really nice girl on the cover and on the video of "She said". Who is this girl?
Her name is Naomi, a really beautyful woman. I like pretty face and she's got one and that's why she worked with us. Everybody knows what I like, now. But she's got a very nice personality, too.

When we are talking about pretty girls. What are you thinking about the Spice Girls?
Here, here, yeah, yeah, I like them. They're cool. You must ask them what they think about The Pharcyde! When you take teh "Spice" away, they are just normal girls. When they here would walk around I would whistle after them.

We are here in Cologne. What do you think about Germany?
We are here the 2nd time and we approximate know what's up, here. Beauty woman... I'd like to know why you have such a hot beer and why there is no ice. We like cold beer and cold orange juice. And when you would have a international pancake-house then here would be some things in another way, but you have crepes. I like crepes.

The most people who hear westcoast, thing about the typical gangster image. What's your opinopn about it?
To understand a thing you have to deal with it. With that gangsterism, it looks worse than it is. For many young people, the gang is a kind of family. You do not know why some people do something when you are not in their situation. Everyone has the right to do what he things is the right one for himself.
